Vocal Blue Trains is a vocal group of 34 singers and musicians, founded and directed by Alessandro Gerini, an Italian-Polish singer and arranger. A multifaceted reality that marries the choral imprint of gospel and traditional polyphony with the modern sounds of electronic music and ambient house.

In six years they have attracted national and international attention, thanks to important collaborations with artists such as Ultimo, Modà, Paul Phoenix (King's Singers), Gigi Proietti, Neri Marcorè, Sergio Sylvestre and Equipe84.

The project has more than 100 concerts in Italy, Europe and Asia, and boasts prestigious appearances at some of the most important international festivals such as Lucca International Choir Festival (Italy), Wien International Festival for Choirs and Orchestras (Austria), Prague Advent Choral Meeting (Czech Republic) and Jeju International Choir & Symposium 2018 (South Korea) and Moscow Sounds 2019 (Russia), where the choir received the prestigious award for "Best Overall Performance," a unicum for a foreign choir.

With the release of the cover of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," the choir came to the attention of the public and press, gaining thousands of views and collecting as many followers on major social channels.

June 2018 saw the release of the highly anticipated single, an electronic arrangement of "Lonely Boy" by the Black Keys.2018 brought several live performances including private events and festivals such as the Lucca International Choir Festival and the Gala Concert at the Pantheon, Rome. Important new collaborations were also born such as the one with Paul Phoenix, a long-time member of King's Singers and current leader of Purple Vocals. Paul will have the role of "Artist in Residence" with Vocal Blue Trains.

The year 2022 includes a busy schedule, with the launch of the first album, various performances and events, and major new collaborations.
